L’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Algeri informa che l’Università degli Studi di Padova ha lanciato la quinta edizione del bando Supporting TAlent in ReSearch@University of Padua – STARS@UNIPD 2025.
L’iniziativa intende promuovere e incoraggiare ricerche di elevato standard internazionale, innovative e ambiziose, e persegue l’obiettivo di potenziare la capacità dei ricercatori e delle ricercatrici dell’Ateneo di accedere a finanziamenti competitivi esterni, in particolare dello European Research Council (ERC).
Il bando STARS@UNIPD è destinato a finanziare progetti di ricerca individuali, della durata di 30 mesi, proposti da Principal Investigators (PIs) eccellenti.
In particolare, la linea di finanziamento STARS Starting Grants (STARS-StG) è rivolta a ricercatori e ricercatrici anche esterni/e all’Università di Padova, di qualsiasi età e nazionalità, che si trovino nella fase di avvio del proprio team e/o della propria attività di ricerca. I candidati e le candidate devono aver discusso la prima tesi di dottorato da non oltre 5 anni alla data del 1° gennaio 2025.

The University of Padua (Italy) funds promising young researchers | STARS@UNIPD Call opening: 20 December 2024 – Deadline: 21 March 2025
We are pleased to inform you that the University of Padua (Italy) has just launched the fifth edition of the Supporting TAlent in ReSearch@University of Padua – STARS@UNIPD 2025 call for proposals. This programme supports excellent 30-month research projects to be conducted by outstanding Principal Investigators (PIs) of any nationality choosing Padua and one of its 32 Departments as their working base.
The STARS@UNIPD call aims at encouraging high quality, innovative and ambitious research in all scientific areas, offering support to ground-breaking ideas with definite potential to turn into competitive proposals for international funding, including the prestigious European Research Council grants.
In particular, STARS Starting Grants (STARS-StGs) are designed to fund promising PIs who have defended their first PhD within maximum 5 years prior to 1st January 2025, and who are beginning to establish their own research team and/or starting their own independent research.
